Specifically they promote girls’ education – ensuring that they complete primary education as a minimum – because it benefits all children, both girls and boys. Girls who are educated grow up to become better thinkers, better citizens, and better parents to their own children.
ENDING THE AIDS PANDEMIC: YouthAIDS

FEEDING THE HUNGRY: 30-Hour Famine
The 30 Hour Famine is a World Vision program that allows young people to make a significant impact on the problem of world hunger. By pledging to go without food for 30 hours, participants not only raise money to help alleviate this type of suffering, but also gain an understanding of how it feels to experience hunger. Over the years we've learned that this experience, combined with a greater awareness of the suffering taking place in many parts of the world, will inspire young people to compassion and a greater desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
